The Special Projects team carries out renovation, repair and conversion of period, reproduction and modern light fittings and bespoke design for stage, themed interior design projects such as restaurants and historical experience centres, listed buildings and similar schemes.

We also design and build one-off special lighting equipment, decorative and theatrical lighting effects, and festive schemes.

Our designers created the original concept and design of the Electric Flicker Candle which has been used in stage productions since the 70’s. Previously distributed by the Lighting Technology Group the Flicker Candle is currently used extensively in the production of The Phantom of the Opera.
